December Activities

We did a lot of other fun activities during the month of December that the kids really enjoyed. One night, we went and visited Santa at our local Smith's and then we went and saw Christmas lights. We drove down Christmas street and then watched a light show. Kylie fell asleep during the light show, but Jordan enjoyed watching the lights go with the music.
Aunt Becky came over one afternoon to help us make sugar cookies that we would then deliver to some neighbors the next day. The kids had fun rolling out the dough and cutting out the shapes. They still don't care to decorate much, but that's okay.
I started a tradition of wrapping 24 Christmas books and having the kids open a book each day along with a chocolate from their advent calendar. The kids got so excited when they saw the book and their calendar out under the tree and loved having a present to open each day.
I finally organized the art cupboard and I love it. Kylie can find things easy and get them herself now.
The kids saw the movie CoCo with Grandma Fletcher and Uncle Andrew while we saw Star Wars.

I won a contest and got tickets to each venue at Thanksgiving Point.
We finally made a gallery wall in our entry room!! I was waiting for just the right pictures and the ones we took in October are perfect. We went Black Friday shopping and got the frames and then had Becky help us figure out the arrangement and hang them up. I love the one with the shadow of the tree off to the side.
We did a q-tip Christmas tree painting project one day. The kids loved it.
Play time at the library and the dinosaurs are Jordan's favorite part.
Cooking in the kitchen!
Q-tip painting!
Playing in a little bit of snow, finally.
My mom and I took Kylie to go see CoCo in the theater.
Kylie showing off her gingerbread tree from preschool.
Catching snowflakes on their tongue.
These cute sweaters are from Grandpa Jack and Grandmama Roberta.
