I've been seeing on facebook people posting a certain number of things about their pregnancy that are interesting or not known by too many people. The number varies as it is given by someone how many things to post. I don't care to post this on my facebook, so I decided I'd do it here. I'm going to do 10 facts.
1. I actually took a pregnancy test just to prove Scott wrong that I wasn't pregnant. He kept saying I was, but I didn't want to believe it. Turns out, Scott was right this time. :)
2. I never had any weird cravings or middle of the night cravings and I'm a little sad I didn't. You hear so much about that being a part of pregnancy and I kept waiting for it to happen. I am glad though that I didn't have any of those non-edible food item cravings that can sometimes happen.
3. I don't think I was much of a worrier throughout my pregnancy. My husband might say otherwise, but the only time I called my doctor for anything was when I strained a muscle in my back. I classify people as worry-warts when they call their doctor for every little thing. I hardly asked my doctor questions at my appointments.
4. I never really had that "nesting" stage. I never truly had a huge desire to clean the whole house or go crazy making crafts. I was actually quite lazy being pregnant.
5. I hated being pregnant at Christmas time because I couldn't enjoy it at all. It's hard to be in the Christmas spirit when you're throwing up 6-7 times a day.
6. My favorite part of pregnancy was feeling Kylie move inside of me and letting Scott get to feel it. Kylie was nice and didn't hurt me when she moved and kicked around, so I would have been fine with her moving all day.
7. I was genuinely surprised that my belly button didn't pop out. I thought everybody's belly button popped out when they got pregnant! It got me thinking sometimes that there was something wrong when the "normal" things during pregnancy didn't happen.
8. My least favorite part of pregnancy was how exhausted I was the whole time. I slept a lot and spent a lot of time on my couch doing nothing.
9. I love that we had a girl. I would have been happy if it was a boy, but probably not as excited as when I found out we were having a girl.
10. I am grateful that there were no serious complications during my pregnancy. I hope future pregnancies go as great as this one did.

Temple Lights
Saturday night, Kylie and I went to see the lights at Temple Square with Brianna, Kyle and my mom. It was definitely crowded as it was the weekend of Thanksgiving and there was a BYU basketball game being played at the Energy Solutions Arena. Despite it being crowded, it was a good night to go as it was not too cold outside. Kylie was a great baby the whole time and the lights were pretty as always.
Family Pictures
My siblings and I all got together to get pictures taken to give as gifts to our parents. Rebecca has a photographer friend in her ward and she was great. We wanted to get pictures done before the leaves all fell off the trees and before it snowed again. It was a little chilly outside during the pictures, but I think they turned out really great. I love them and have plans to make a family wall with them. I'll post updates on that whenever it happens and hopefully it's sooner than later.
Thankful
I am definitely grateful for a lot this year. This year has definitely been one full of changes.
To start, I am thankful for my job. I know that I am not as happy with it right now, but I'm grateful for it. I've got a lot of great co-workers who have stood up for me with administration, parents and students. They were especially great while I was pregnant and made sure no one made me cry. I will miss them when I leave.
I am thankful for all of my family. They have been so supportive during my pregnancy and the birth of Kylie. It is so nice that I can count on my immediate family and my in-laws if we need anything.
I am thankful for Kylie and the joy she brings to my life. Taking care of her is the hardest and most different work I've done so far in my life. It is also the most rewarding work. My heart melts every time I see her smile, even at 3:00 in the morning. I'm so grateful she is in my life as she will change me in ways I never thought possible.
I am thankful for my husband, Scott. It is hard for me to put into words how appreciative I am of him. Every day, I just wonder how lucky I am that he is in my life. I just hope I am as good to him as he is to me. I am thankful I get to be with him for eternity.
Thanksgiving turned out nice this year. I spent the morning cuddling Kylie and preparing the dishes I took to dinner (fruit salad, green bean casserole and jell-o cheesecake). I also made these cute turkeys I saw on pinterest to put with the name plates.
We ate a delicious dinner and then played some games afterwards. It was a nice, relaxing day with family.
