Zoo Trip

The second week of November, Brianna & Killian came out for a visit. Since it was still nice weather, we decided to go to the zoo. We had decided on getting a zoo pass for Christmas, but after we went to Boo at the Zoo, we realized we could use what we paid for admission on a season pass. However, you only have a week to use them. Since Scott's mom and I couldn't share a pass (it has to be mom and/or dad on the pass), we found one where you can add a nanny (so Scott's mom can go on her own without needing us there). It was more expensive, but since we were sharing it with Scott's parents, it turned out to be only $100 for a season pass. We get a lot of perks with out pass such as unlimited rides on the train and carousel (which I feel is the best perk since Kylie & Jordan love doing those two things), early entrance to Boo at the Zoo, free admission to Zoo lights, 2 free guests each visit and I think maybe some discounts on food. I love that we got the pass and I know it will get much use out of it next year. We had fun at the zoo and they built a new playground area which the kids really enjoyed. We also were able to see the lion cubs wrestling and playing with each other as well as hear the dad roar! It was this low rumbling noise and awesome to hear. I think I took video of it, but it's on Brianna's phone. Can't wait for more fun trips to the zoo.

Starting the day off with a train ride!

The lions were so fun to watch this day! They were very active which was fun to see.

Jordan lasted about half way through the ride and then he wanted down. The next time we did it, we sat down.
