November Activities

Things have been super busy around here, but I want to update the blog before the new year! I'm thinking about printing out my blog year by year, so I have to stay updated. There were a lot of fun and miscellaneous activities that occurred in November. One of Scott's co-workers had a baby shower at an ice cream place called Leatherby's. We figured since we'd never been there before that we'd use the baby shower as an excuse to go. There were two different types of ice cream with our names, but we decided to go with Rob's banana split in the end. We've discovered that the portions are huge! It was delicious and fun to try.
One day we'll try Emily's Raspberry Chocolate Rhapsody.
It's huge!
Jordan was in heaven!
We did a good job.
Jordan got his first haircut in November as well! Jocelyn had her baptism and Lane's sister-in-law, Jenn, was in town so she cut Jordan's hair for us. He looks so big with his hair cut short.

Kylie making cookies with grandma!
Kylie wanted to do my hair one morning.
Jordan loves to sit on Scott's face. Haha.
Brianna & Killian visited the second week of November. We went to the zoo and had dinner and played games at grandma's. I'll do the zoo on another post. Kylie was cute in reading books and the scriptures to Killian. Love seeing her caring nature come through.
Instead of having a free day, the aquarium decided to make it $2 to get in. It still was super crowded, but definitely no where near as bad as the free days they had in the past. Luckily the weather was nice, so waiting outside wasn't bad. The kids were overdue for nap time, so we didn't stay as long and missed checking out some areas. Oh well, it's worth it to me to go there for super cheap.
I found out that it was Mickey Mouse's birthday on November 18th and decided to do a little celebration by making cupcakes. We didn't blow out a candle, but it was fun to see Kylie excited about his birthday and talking about it so much.
I bought Scott, Kylie and me a Pass of all Passes, which gets us in for free to certain water parks, a fun center and a few other places. It also gets you in for free to certain sporting events (hockey games, BYU and Utah basketball & soccer games, etc.). It was such a good deal that I couldn't pass up buying them. I'm hopeful that it will get used a lot this year. One of the hockey games fell in November, but we missed going to it and Scott's parents took us to another hockey game. Jordan loved dancing to all the music and Kylie liked eating ice cream.
The bear moved too quickly for me to get a good picture.
We had some nice weather in early November and the kids had fun playing outside.
Here are some more fun pictures of the kids taken throughout the month.
They were enjoying wearing their winter hats.
Feeding her baby at the table.
She's become a much better shopper and I love that shopping is not as stressful.
I have video of her reading this Clip Clop story out loud.
After her Thanksgiving feast at preschool.
Kylie helping me make some pies for Thanksgiving!
Got the crib out for when Brianna came to visit. Jordan couldn't help but climb in.
Playing in the tunnel he got for his birthday.
Thanksgiving turned out good this year. We had dinner with the Fletcher family the night before, which is always fun. We spent actual Thanksgiving dinner at Chris and JoAnn Omer's house. Kylie & Jordan had fun playing with their dog, Gus. There weren't as many people as usual, but it worked out great. We had pie at the Bitner's house and then headed home since Scott had to work the next day.
Jordan's shirt matched the napkins. Haha.
We did some Christmas shopping at the mall and while I was getting some new makeup, Scott put some lipstick and mascara on Kylie. She loved it. He also had fun trying on some ugly sweaters for a contest at work.
