Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2017 was a lot of fun! We hosted at home and it was pretty relaxed, which was nice. Scott's parents were in California and so we had my mom, Aaron, Mike and Becky come over for dinner. We prepped some things the night before and it made the day of run smoothly. For food, we had turkey breast, crock pot mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans & carrots, pretzel jell-o salad, home-made macaroni and cheese, 7-layer salad and rolls! And that's not including dessert. For dessert, we had a peach pie, key-lime pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie and cheesecake. Everything was so delicious!! For the table setting, I made some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and turned them into a turkey. I also printed off some Thanksgiving trivia and that helped with some conversation during dinner. After dinner, we did a puzzle, played games and the kids watched a movie. It really was a fun holiday.
