Aquarium

On Tuesday, October 24th, the aquarium was only $2. I follow a lot of Utah activity bloggers on Instagram and only found out about it being $2 the day before. The last couple of years, the free/cheap day has been in November, so it was surprising to see it in October. I packed a lunch and got ready while Kylie was in preschool and then we headed straight there when she was done. There was barely a line outside, but inside was a little more crowded. The kids were super excited at first, but quickly lost interest in looking at fish and even penguins. It could have been because it was nap time, but they really did not care to see all the different animals. Another reason why I only go on the cheap days. I don't want to waste my money when the kids just aren't interested in learning about these types of animals right now. We did check out the 4D movie they had there on penguins and the kids enjoyed getting squirted in the face with water, but then they got really restless. We were there for about 2 hours and it was a fun way to spend the afternoon.
