California Vacation-days 9 & 10

Since we just got off of two busy days at Disneyland, we just wanted to relax on Saturday, September 10th. Kylie & Abrie had a lot of fun playing together. David & Kristene have a swing set and trampoline, so it made it easy for them to just play outside. They also had fun playing upstairs in Abrie's room. We still wanted to do something, so later that afternoon we went swimming at the clubhouse. David & Kristene were helping watch two twin girls for a family and so they came with us. We had hot dogs for dinner and then headed back to the house to get changed for the drive-in. We went and watched Pete's Dragon. It was a cute movie, but not one I would have chose to ever see in theaters. Kylie had fun sitting outside next to Abrie and she did alright once Abrie fell asleep on her. Lol. Our car battery died and luckily we saw a worker headed to another car with a dead battery to help jump start it. So, we grabbed him to come do ours. We tried to stay and watch the new Ben-Hur movie, but it did hold anyone's interest, so we headed back to the house.

Sunday, we went to church and then left after sacrament meeting. I did some laundry and packed for our trip home. We relaxed and people took naps. We left for Utah around 6pm. It was a long drive home, but we were glad to be home after such a long, but wonderful trip. Brianna, Kyle, David & Kristene were all gracious hosts and we were grateful to be able to stay with them. We had great family time and wonderful memories to look back on. It was truly an enjoyable vacation.
